Undefined.
After a wonderful career in advertising and design, I am introducing CC Paintings, a new chapter in my artistic story. My paintings are expressive and joyful, inspired by saturated color, bold strokes, textures and layers, abstraction and graphic compositions. I attribute enjoying some successes in my life to allowing myself to be undefined as a person, a designer and an artist. My subjects will vary, as will the scale of the work, and the colors I choose to mix. And behind every canvas is an untamed spirit, engrossed in seeing things differently and loving every expressive minute of creating something new for myself, and possibly for you.
Spilling the Ink
Two little girls connected by a sense of wonder and creativity that started in the front yard of our home out in the country in a very small town. We’re sisters and we are both artists. We have made careers as art director and designer. Callie Crosby graduated from Massachusetts College of Art, Boston and Rebecca Daw from Rhode Island School of Design. Artistically, we share a love for all things colorful, bold, graphically simple and beautifully designed with evidence of the artist’s hand behind the mark. And so, Puddle Ink emerged as our next adventure—going back to our start—playing in puddles of rainwater as kids and now with puddles of ink as adults.
